Flamenco Classes Complete Beginners

Basic Technique and Choreography (Tangos)

Day: Thursdays starting 15th March
Time: 7.15 - 8.45 pm
Cost: £10 per session

Beginners/Improvers Flamenco Classes

Basic Technique and Choreography (Alegrias) 

Day: Saturdays
Time: 11.00 am - 12.30 pm
Cost: £10 per session

Both women and men welcome, start any time.  Women please wear a wide, full volume, mid-length to long skirt.  Please wear a shoe with a low, sturdy heel.  No stilletto shoes or shoes with black soles that mark the floor.

Bata de Cola Technique

Open Level Technique (Beginners Welcome) 
Day: Fridays
Time: 7.00 - 8.00 pm
Cost: £10 per session, drop in attendance to any session welcome
Intermediate - Advanced Solea
Day: Fridays
Time: 8.00 - 9.00 pm
Cost: £10 per session
Students required to wear a bata de cola skirt. Please get in contact if you require a skirt.

La Morenita Flamenca Bata de Cola Course

La Escuela de Baile raised £2.5k for the Japanese Red Cross from the proceeds of Saturday's charity show.

Flamenco Show for Japan

La Escuela de Baile is holding a charity show to raise money for Japan. It takes place at Haverstock School, in the theatre there, on the 21st May, at 5pm. Tickets are £10 each and all money goes to Japan.

I will be dancing a solo.  Please come and support this effort by the London flamenco community to help the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

Flamenco Classes in Brixton

As I am away on the 14th of May and there will be no class on the 28th May due to the bank holiday I am running two extended refresher classes at no extra charge on the 7th and 21st May to go over bulerias choroegraphy and the studio will be available to students to practice on the 14th May.  Session times and dates as follows:

Saturday 7th May: 11.00 am - 12.30 pm £10

Saturday 14th May: 11.30 am -12.30 pm - practice session (no charge)

Saturday 21st May: 11.00 am - 12.30 pm £10

Normal sessions resume on the 4th June, 11.30 am - 12.30 pm, £10 per session.
